American Eskimo
The American Eskimo Dog is a small to medium sized breed of dogs of the Spitz type. The breed was developed in the United States. The name was devised to differentiate the breed from its German ancestors. Although the breed is similar to some of the German Spitz breeds, the American and German dogs have developed separately over the past 100 years. Airedale Terrier
The Airedale Terrier (often shortened to "Airedale") is a breed of the terrier type, originating in Airedale, a geographic area in Yorkshire, England. It traditionally was called the "King of Terriers" because before the creation of the Black Russian Terrier by the NKVD, the Airedale was largest of the terrier breeds. The breed has also been called the Waterside Terrier, because it was bred originally to hunt otters in and around the valleys of the River Aire which runs through Airedale. Australian Staghound
The Australian Staghound is a hybrid of the Greyhound and the Scottish Deerhound dogs that were brought to Australia by European settlers. They were used for hunting in Australia dating back to the late 1700s, but haven't been recognized as a distinct breed. The Australian Staghound is a distant cousin of the American Staghound, with a distinct bloodline that's native to Australia. Staghounds are bred specfically for coursing, or hunting by sight. Akita Inu
The is a breed of large dog originating in Japan, named for Akita Prefecture, where it is thought to have originated.
